Born 1974; 1988-1993 HTBL u. VA Graz-Gösting (secondary school with technical focus, special subject Mechanical Engineering, final examination with excellence), 1993-2000 Studies of Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics at Graz University of Technology (special subject "Energy Engineering"), 2000 Master in Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics at Graz University of Technology (Diploma Thesis: "Design, Construction and Commissioning of a Gas-Turbine-Driven Suction Blower"), since 2000 research assistant at the Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics (project refunded: DITTUS, START, AIDA), 2004 PhD in Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics (with excellence, Doctoral Thesis: "Experimental Investigation of Cooling and Unsteady Flow in Transonic High-Temperature Turbine Stages), 2005 postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics. Member Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI).
