Federal State of Styria Research Award -
Forschungspreis des Landes Steiermark

21.12.2004 Research Award granted by the Government of Styria for the investigation of unsteady flow phenomena in a transonic turbine using optical measurement techniques. This type of turbines is used for modern power plants with carbon-dioxid retention. The Federal State of Styria Research Award is granted once a year for exceptional research in all fields. The award was granted in 2004 as main award for a distinguished scientist.
