Born 1978; 1992-1997 HTBL Lastenstraße 1, Klagenfurt (secondary school with technical focus, special subject Mechanical Engineering, final examination with excellence).
1998-2004 studies of Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics at Graz University of Technology (special subject "Energy Engineering").
2003 Testing Engineer at MTU Aero Engines, Munich (Germany); component testing department.
2004 Master in Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics at Graz University of Technology.
Diploma Thesis at MTU in Munich; Title: Combustion Chamber Testing - Test Stand Adaptation and Combustion Chamber Testing with special Consideration to the Design of Test Stands.
2004-2008, research assistant at the Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics (EU-Project AIDA).
2008 PhD in Mechanical Engineering combined with Economics (with excellence, Doctoral Thesis:
"On the Aerodynamics of Intermediate Turbine Ducts for Competitive and Environmentally Friendly Jet Engines"
).
2008-2009, postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics.
